Paksiw na Tilapia


  • 6 pieces Tilapia fish (cleaned and scaled)
  • 1 medium red onion (diced)
  • 1 small ginger (quartered)
  • 5 small whole okra
  • 3 long green peppers (sliced)
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 1 small garlic (crushed)
  • 1/4 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 5 pieces string beans


  1. In a casserole, arrange fish, red onion, ginger, okra, green peppers, string beans and garlic.
  2. Pour in vinegar and soy sauce.
  3. Season with salt.
  4. Cook covered over medium fire for 10-15 minutes.
  5. Serve hot with steamed rice.
